Yesterday and today, my daughter has sent me a text with photo from Beer in Devon (short holiday). The words come through but are over-written by Download failed, Communication error, please try again later.

She is on Orange and I'm with Vodaphone. We have never experienced this before, so am I to assume it is because she is in a poor reception area?, and is there any chnace the pics will come through when she is in a better reception area?.

I'm going to send her a pic to see if she gets it.

Ah, when I hit send, I get:- Profile incomplete. Name, message server and internet profile must be set.

I have to say I've been exploring (fiddleing) with the phone of late and may have switched something. (Sony Ericsson K810i

You need to be able to send and recive MMS via GPRS. Call Vodafone in order for them to send your Profile settings and instructions. They will arrive via SMS. Just save them to your phone. That's it.
