You could try using the following link;

Then scroll down the list of Panasonic DVD players until you find your model listed (there are 194 models in the Panasonic list, displayed 50 models per page so you might havre to click the "next" link at the bottom left of the list on each page to get to your model number)
Once you reach your DVD player model number check whether the second column in the table indicates that a hack is available. If there are hacks available the click the link and read the posting regarding what the hack procedure is.

All these solutions seem to invlove paying for a piece of kit, for about £20, then sending it back. The question is does your system have a digital in socket. If so you can do what i have done and purchase a cheap multi regional dvd player, i bought an SVA one from Amazon, that has a digital out on it. It is now connected through the home cinema system and playing region 1 dvds in DTS. This can also be done for xboxs as well.0
