T-Mobile Contract - Bought Instore (less than 24 hours)

Guys,
Yesterday I signed up to a new contract that the rep pushed me towards. He said it was the best deal for what I needed however, it turns out that I have to pay an additional £1 per day for whenever I use the mobile internet service on my BB.
Ive just found out that instead of paying that £1 per day, I could have taken out a contract for an extra £1 per month for unlimited mobile internet AND have the term reduced to 18 months as opposed the the 24 months.
As I understand there is NO returns policy and the lovely staff on phone have confirmed this. Do i have any right in the country to return this or have I been screwed over for the next 24 months????
Please can someone advise urgently.
Thank you

I'm afraid you dont, if you had ordered it online then you would have been covered but as you saw what you were buying and purchased in store there is no coolong off period...0

Ohhh man, That is terrible.
I was basically blagged into going for this deal and I have no rights at all?? Considering, the phone is still 15 hours old, in perfect packaging, this seems outrageous to me.
Please someone, there has to be some sort of an angle I could try that has worked before?0 -
What do you mean by "it turns out that I have to pay an additional £1 per day for whenever I use the mobile internet service on my BB.".
I dont understand what that is. Are you talking about using your phone on your OWN Broadband Connection???0 -

Ok this is what I got signed up to:
Combi 35 - £35 per month (1000 mins, unlimited text and NO mobile web) - 24 months. In addition to that I added the additional Blackberry Internet Services booster (£5.00) and insurance (£8.99)
Total = £48.99
In order to use the web, the customer has to pay. The max he can be charged is £1 for unlimited web usage in a 24 hour period. Based on my usage, web usage is an absoulte must - I got a damn Blackberry !!!!!!. Potentially I could have been paying an extra £30/31 per month.
The alternative is to add the unlimited mobile web booster for £5.00 per month, which makes the
New total = £48.99 + £5 = £53.99
Instead I could have got:
Combi 35 + unlimited internet for £36.00 on an 18 month contract. The differences - 800 mins as opposed to 1000 (no big deal)
The advantages - £4 less per month and 6 months less on contract!!
So on the new plan I would have been paying:
£36 + £5 (BB Booster) + £8.99 (insurance) x 18 = £881.82
Instead im now paying:
£35 + £5 (BB Booster) + £8.99 (insurance) + £5 (unlimited web booster) x 24 months = £1295.76
Total difference between 2 plans = £413.94!!!!!!!!
The crappest part is that I still want the phone but the plan to change due to the advisors incompetency. And now I have to pay £414 more!
PLEASE HELP HELP HELP0 -
Is the phone you chose available on the other plan without any extra charge????0

I have just edited my last post with full breakdown of calculations.
Please read my new nightmare.
p.s. Yes the phone on both plans mentioned is FREE0 -
Just wondering what happens to people who sign up for these things then lose their job or go to jail or in some other way end up simply being unable to afford to pay it? My thought was to simply tell them you cannot afford it. That would maybe get you offered the cheaper deal?0

Well my wife has been with TM for about 3 years and technically the contract is in her name. So its 2 lines one one contract.
If the contract was in my name, id do exactly what you just said (if !!!!!! hit the fan). However, in light of the circumstances, If she did that right now, her original phone would also be affected....which might not be a bad idea.
I just cant believe this. Any other angles I can work with. The only play I have is to call the store and hope the manager can sympathise.0 -
I dont know if this will be of any help, but earlier this year I was misold sold a plan for my DS. Although T Mobile had quoted £15 a month when the day came for the contract to come into force came, it didnt happen. T Mobile had wrongly quoted £15 when it should have been £20 for existing customers, they refused to honour the contract and actually cut DS off!
We tried everything and they would not budge. Someone over on the mobiles forum gave me an email address for the Customer Servive directors office. I sent I polite, concise email explaining what had happened and within 3 days I received a phone call, an apology and above all the contract to which we had originally signed. I sent an email to both of these:
csdir@t-mobile.co.uk and mdtmob@t-mobile.co.uk.
Good luck OP!0
