Good grief .. that's a blast from the past .. way back in the mid 1970's I had a jacket just like that .. same check pattern, colours and style of jacket .. I wore it proudly next time I went to my mums .. and she looked stunned and said she'd had a jacket just like that somewhere around the 1940's ...

And here we are another 30 years on and that same jacket is now a fashion item at ASDA .. who'd have thought it :rotfl:

My order online says fully despatched but still no sign of it?? Those of you who have received theirs what time did it come? Stupid question probably but you never know could be similar times they deliver!?

Royal Mail usually deliver before 2pm. If you log into your Asda account you should be able to track it. If once you get "Ready to deliver" on the Royal Mail site it should be delivered that day.

Mine just arrived. It looks every bit a cheap coat, you get what you pay for. I got the black and think maybe another colour would look less cheap. Wish I'd bought a size 16 as the back is quite tight.

You must have high expectations, i think the quality of these coats for £7.50, even £15 is very good... iv seen primark coats at higher prices and much much worse quality


Anyway mine arrived about an hour ago, my account still says order placed, and i ordered sunday morning so fingers crossed for everyone else that your order arrives x

I don't think it looks any cheaper than most other high street jackets personally. At the end of the day I'm not desperately bothered what it looks like - For me, a jacket is bought to serve a purpose- that being to keep me warm, and these do the job. I bought the black a month or so back and I can't fault it. Got the purple through today- and it looks "cheaper" to me but still perfectly decent- but as long as it serves its purpose til the spring then I'm a happy bunny.

I'm not entirely convinced by the whole "you get what you pay for" argument, as I've paid 10x this for coats before that have been no better and look no more "expensive" than this one. I have absolutely no intention of keeping it for years to come -partly as I hope it'll be too big next year- but also these offers will keep coming up, and I'll just buy another rather than dry cleaning and storing this one.

Mine came this morning around 10.30, along with the other items I ordered which again I'm happy with.

mine came at 7.30 this morning could have done with out that! but they are nice. I got the purple and checked one and a maternity top in the sale. I am very happy with them but the purple isn't quite the same colour as on the web.

I ordered on Sunday and it arrived yesterday - a purple coat for me and a checked one for my daughter. I think they look very smart, the only quibble I have is that I don't particularly like the black buttons on the purple coat, so I may try to find some replacement buttons. But for £7.50 it's fantastic!

It's a snug fit but not too tight and I can wear a jumper or cardigan underneath it and still breathe!

Yes I thought the same about the purple- although I doubt I'll bother changing the buttons as it's just too much effort for me!

I picked up a purple one in Ashford yesterday, they still had a few left. It is a really lovely coat, I am chuffed to bits and have now ordered my daughter a black one online.
