  • So much for McDonalds trying to cut down on the increased prevalence of obesity and diabetes in the western world!!!!!

There fruit pouches, salads and less salt options weren't publicised for long!!!!

    Obviously not a financial winner.
    Rock on MSE!!!

  • This is a genuine offer that McD's tend to offer in January (trying to keep customers coming in at what is traditionally a quiet time of year). 'Supersize Me' is old news & as was earlier said, who isn't going to put on weight if all they eat is McD's? The average McD's customer visits 4 times per month, yet the average person eats 3 meals a day i.e 90 meals a month. How can McD's then be blamed for causing obesity?!

The offer changes daily e.g Mac 1 day, McChicken Sandwich next etc. What it says on the small print is that Filet O' Fish available daily...therefore this is to appease the veggies out there who don't want a meat product...Quorn will also be available as a BOGOF daily.

Please be assured that they have NOT underestimated demand for this promotion. Stock levels are crazy!

    lol ;D
Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...
  • I popped into Mc Donalds today to get a Big Mac Meal.  As I thought today was one of the days the offer wasn't on this I decided to go LARGE! :)

Opened my bag, and found along with my large Coke, a large fries, two Big Macs!  To be honest I thought I'd won a coconut.  By half way through the second one I never wanted to see another!!

The worring thing is now at 1.28am, I could really go a Big Mac  :o

I would avoid the McChicken sandwiches personally.... I don't think they are very nice, and they were for quite a while on the poundsaver menu anyway.... BigMac on the other hand is more of a premium product, as far as McDs go

So the quorn premiere will be available everyday jan 10th-16th on BOGOF? If so then thats good.
if you go to mcdonalds.co.uk you can check out the nutrient info on each product, some of them are frightening. Stay away from Big Tasty with 56g of fat and over 800 calories!
The quorn premiere is actually quite reasonable, in fact, probably the only burger which isn't too bad for you. Avoid the fries and non-diet coca-cola though if you lose the big gut from Christmas.
