Automatic Internet Connection

Could anyone tell me how i can make my broadband connect automaticly when i turn on my computer, at the moment i have to click on the Speedtouch modem short cut to connect. many thanks

I dont believe it is possible with the Speedtouch modems.

But.....

Try copying the dial up connection (probably named speedtouch, or the name of your ISP) from your network connections folder into your startup folder, see if that automatically dials it.

One thing to note of course is this wont work if you have to type the password in everytime (but this can probably be saved).

I used to have speedtouch before out router and it can be done, cant remember how though

Try from IE tools, internet options, connections,tick never dial a connection apply, ok.
