Bill Bailey has made a name for himself as one of the UK's most original artists, successfully fusing his musical prowess with his stand-up routine, the result of which is a truly original and highly entertaining performance that never disappoints.
This autumn sees Bill touring with his new show. Bill Bailey's Remarkable Guide To The Orchestra (Symphony Hall, Birmingham on 8 November and Warwick Arts Centre, Coventry, on 30 November) provides a uniquely hilarious guide to the sounds, styles and instruments of the orchestra, with a wide and eclectic range of subjects, including music for 1970s cop shows, sci-fi films, horror movies and news themes - plus some of Bill's own songs, re-imagined for an orchestra..
Bill Bailey's Remarkable Guide To The Orchestra will also be available on DVD from 23 November 2009. Recorded live at last year's sell-out show at London's Royal Albert Hall, it includes a full one hour, 45-minute live show, together with an additional 17 minutes of bonus material.
