I shouldn't imagine that we will see the RO list until March/April time, as it wasn't until October that the last one became public knowledge, and considering the new Argos catalogue came out July 2004, that was quite some time.

If you can't get the Argos batteries, Costco are doing 24 Duracell AA batteries for £8.00.

If you're not a Costco member some Argos stores may also have 980/4506 - Duracell Plus AA 4+4 free £2.99 a pack - left in stock from Christmas. This works out at £8.97 for 24.
Note that these are Duracell Plus not the Ultra M3 which are usually more expensive.

Also Argos have Energiser Ultimate (similar to Duracell Ultra M3 I think) BOGOF £3.49 per pack. Not sure of the cat nos, they're 980/4xxx though, should be in one of the sale flyers.

Or Tesco instore in their January Deals have a pack of 20, extra type not sure of make, for less than £5.

Panasonic. £4.97 I think.

well....i just wanna give a big thanks to the original poster, since i got my Thomson 20GB Jukebox for £62.50 at the Mill Hill store....
so clearly the bargains are still out there if people want them....!!!
