Well I have never found a Beko TV at £85 since 9 October ???

From skimming through the list most of these items are long gone and wouldn't like people to spend money telephoning R&R to find nothing in stock. It would be better checking out the Argos thread on Grab It While You Can board for up to date information.

Incidentally I don't mean to offend on your first posts but neither would I want users to waste their time searching Argos for items that are no longer available.
  • Thats ok its my first post im sure ill get better taking advice from a pro like you ;D ;D :-*

Mmm current RO items (stock that won't be in the new catalogue launched Jan 22nd) are more or less just those advertised in the January "Clearance Bargains" sale flyer and broadsheets. A lot of items are out of stock pretty much everywhere already.

After cat launch there will be more clearance broadsheets and following them there may be a few items left to be drastically reduced as you saw in October. However with the opening of the clearance store in Corby there will be less RO items left in stores to be reduced to so little.

One offer of note at the moment is Duracell Ultra M3 batteries, all half price (£1.74 per pack), makes them very cheap for Duracell batteries and a lot cheaper than other well-known brand batteries too.
    Cat Numbers:
    980/3466 - 4xAA
    980/3473 - 4xAAA
    980/2993 - 2xC
    980/3002 - 2xD
    980/2986 - 1x9V

Agreed, they're very worthwhile. Keep your eyes open for them since we were in the Reading branch at the weekend and when we checked the stock level of the AAs it said they were sold out.

Luckily we had something else to purchase as when we got to the tills what did I spot hanging on the wall but said batteries, though showing the normal price. Got the cashier to check and lo and behold they were half-price, so I said I'd take the lot (4 packs AA). She then had to go get help since even the till was saying they were out of stock! ::) ;D

If you can't get the Argos batteries, Costco are doing 24 Duracell AA batteries for £8.00.
