Any Barclays Loan employees around?

Just to warn you, if you do take this up with the FOS, be very patient. It will take them time to respond. I have had a complaint with them now for nearly 18 months. It is being looked into, but it is a very slow process.

In my experience the bank has refused to discuss anything with me whilst with the FOS. If you are unhappy with how the complaint is being investigated don't be afraid to complain, the FOS has a Service Review Management team that will look at the service. I was not aware of this until I phoned up asking to speak to the line manager of the adjudicator, and I was referred to the Service Review Manager.

Barclayloan are useless in my opinion, very inflexible, unwilling to listen or go out of their way to help.
I've been with them for 7 years but am in the process of moving my money out and closing my account. I hope a senior person from Barclayloan reads this thread.

I suspect if it were not for the computer change, I would have no complaint at all. It is a little irritating that they cannot even deal with a complaint in the timescale they say they will though.

The clock is ticking Barclays. Do hurry along now before I have words with the FOS. Timescale is irrelevant to me, it's the principle.

Surely if you were moving away from Barclayloan it would be a case of moving your money in?

recently in my local town made a sit in protest at a Ba****s branch for the way they have dealt with her complaint. Took the family and picnic. Have had a look to see if I can find reference to it, unfortunately I can't. It was in the local freesheet. From what I can gather they tried to freeze an account, that didn't happen and money was taken out.
