wilko garlics have given me nothing but grief. I'm planting stuff from the supermarket this year as I've had white rot three years in a row from their disease free varieties!

if you have white rot on your garlic it is not necessarily the garlics fault. it is more likely that it is in your soil. If you get white rot on onions/garlic then you should grow it the following year some one where else on your plot/garden other it just keeps infecting your produce regardless of where you buy your garlic from

Went in today & Wilkinson`s bulbs are now 75% off. I resisted the garlic as I have no more room, & the white onions (same reason) but I succumbed to the 25 tulips & 20 muscari reduced from £4.87 to 90p. (Yes it is more than 75% but apparently they were reduced before.

If you tell them they may refund the price you paid. They are very good when it comes to refunds. Of course, it would be good if you had a receipt.

For those who may be interested Wilko has reduced these bulbs to 50% again this year bought mixed tulips for less than 50p for a pack of 10, maybe reduced to 75% by the ed of the month?

They're also reduced to half price in other stores such as b&m home stores. Also while i'm on the topic of gardening, went into b&q who were having a plant clearance sale to make space for (real) christmas trees.
