I tried to pay by Switch but their system refused because I didn't enter a "valid from" date - but Switch cards don't have a valid from date on them!! Doh!
So I ordered using Visa and just got my confirmation email through about 2 minutes ago.

I can see 2 links to this 1 says HP printer £99 which has the discount the other says 7260 printer £89.99 and does not have the discount?

Yes that's right, I included both links to show how it might not be as simple as we think. They are the same printers.

People shouldn't get too carried away with the printer or paper sizes etc., it's not really that good a printer but the inbox cartridges are worth more than the outlay.

but had a call from index to confirm my order , and that part number is coming up as a data cable. So cancelled.
Its cost me nothing apart from a bit of time, and was a nice thought while it lasted. Well spotted origianal poster. Will wait for the next bargain......

It won't let me order it. It still says it is in stock. However, when I click add to basket it goes to a screen that says my basket is empty ???

I've just checked my confirmation email and it does clearly state printer.

I wonder if the person you spoke to got it wrong Mark or if it is actually a cable after all.  :(

The printer is now discontinued so I didn't think it was beyond belief that they were selling them this cheap to get shot of them.  :-/

Edited to say, you wouldn't have liked it anyway, it wasn't your colour. :-* ;D
