Flatten the first sock so that the heel is on top flattened.
Cut off the cuff and cut up the middle until you almost reach the heel.

SL270738.jpg

Turn inside out, sew up the two 'legs' leaving a gap between them to stuff.

SL270739.jpg

Turn back the right way round, stuff and sew up the hole.

SL270740.jpg

On the second sock, cut into 4 pieces as shown.

SL270743.jpg

Slip piece 2 over the body and legs you have already made, fold in the edges and sew on.

SL270744.jpg

Stuff piece 2 and gather the end up so that it forms a horizontal line with the edges turned in and sew this up.

SL270745.jpg

Bring the two ends of the horizontal line together, sew them in place with a toggle button for the nose.

SL270746.jpg

Sew two button eyes on either side of the head.

SL270747.jpg

Take pieces 3 and 4, turn inside out and sew to create two arms.

SL270748.jpg

Turn the right way round, sew up the ends and sew to the body in diagonal lines just under the join between the body and head.

SL270750.jpg

Cut piece 1, (the toe) in half down the middle.

SL270751.jpg

Open out each bit, fold the edges inwards, close again and sew along the edges.

SL270752.jpg

Sew these ears onto the heel part of the head sock with the line of stitching facing inwards and the side with no stitching on it facing outwards.

I hope that makes sense!!!!!!!:money:

This is the finished product:
