I thought the government declared the food voucher scheme for asylum seekers a failure and got rid of it years ago?

Anyway, seems to me that they just wanted you out so as not to allow you to accrue more employment rights. By taking you back you start the cycle all over again.

I worked there in 2000. They knew i was leaving the area to go to uni, so it was def a temp job. I worked about 6 weeks after they took me on again.

Your post is confusing.
First you say she was laid off, then you say she was sacked.

There is a major difference.
