Maybe you are in a weather warp, not a drop of rain here either today:DBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0

It's been drizzly here too, when I got the gutters done they said it was better if it rained cos it was easier to get the stuff out otherwise they would end up dampening it anyway.Mortgage OP 2025 £6200/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

They can do the gutters if its raining, but the gutters leaking has caused standing water on the bay to leak through the loose flashing. So now the bay needs refelting and reflashing and they can't do that in the rain!
I just want it to stop for a little while so I can get things done.
Once the bay is fixed, I can sort out the bedroom, currently bed has had to be moved away from drips together with dressing table and assorted boxes. Bit of a balancing act at the moment to get to anything.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

It's raining here. I gave ex a lift home, since it's dark I didn't bother taking my stripey fluffy socks off that are over my tights.
I really should have taken the OS advice to label the stuff I cooked the other week... Curry tonight, I think.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
Had lovely clear but cold weather here today - managed to get 3 loads of washing dry - bonus.
Spent the afternoon snuggled up in bed with DH who was snoring away....seemed more sensible than putting the heating on....DD1 was out and DD2 went back to bed to watch telly.
Just looking at wheelchairs online....I've no idea what we need to buy but it needs to be lighter and easier to move around than the one we've got from the Red cross.....I think I need to do some more research.

Ames, did you say you say you wanted to go to the Edinburgh meet, but couldn't as no one to go with?Cats don't have owners - they have staff!!DFW Long Hauler Supporter No 1500

Scaredy, no I can't do Edinburgh cos I'll be having a drunken weekend at Pontins that weekend. Although the hassle it's causing (a friend paid on her credit card, and now the bill's come in sister can't pay her share, so could be a bit strained) I'd rather be up north!
Pooky, maybe your GP could suggest a chair, or get an OT to see you to assess you? You need to make sure it's the right size, and is comfortable, and supports in the right places for him, and then there's all the options like whether he'll be able to self propel or not and things. I don't know how it works, but there are NHS vouchers to put towards it, I think it depends on circumstances though.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0
