Can I ask where you heard this? I have looked online and you can pre-order it from Asda for £44.91. I have ordered it elsewhere for a similar price, so I will be miffed if Asda are selling it for £27! Does anyone know if Play.com price match? Thanks.
ASDA online is a completely separate operation. The entertainment section isn't even run by ASDA is run by a company called The Hut (they run Zavvi online as well).
I heard about the instore offer on the Digital Spy forums a worker from ASDA posted on there. They also did the same offer last year with COD5.
Play.com won't price match. Especially as the ASDA deal is only for 24hrs, they know they will be getting orders in after that anyway.0 -
Does anyone know the best place to buy it for the PC?:beer:0

I Pre-ordered ODST for ds from Amazon.....which arrived 4 days AFTER its release date.
Although he did get some special free thing ( code so he could be a certain character?
) it was very annoying to see it in stores and at about the same price as I had pre-ordered it at, for days, and days and days before his copy arrived.
When I have pre-ordered the Harry Potter books from Amazon and Tesco etc in the past they had arrived on the day of release.
Amazons explanation for the delay this time was because I hadn't paid extra for super fast delivery.
Considering they had my money beforehand, sat in their bank account, I wasn't too impressed with their arguement.
I will certainly be reading all the small print if I ever pre-order again:cool:0 -
There is a big thread on Hot deals about sainsburys selling it for £26 (or may be £26.99 can't remember) on day of release.0
