Modern Warfare 2

Just heard that on Tuesday 10 November Makro are going to be selling Modern Warfare 2 for only £29.99 plus vat for both PS3 and Xbox formats! This must at least £10 cheaper than Game or Amazon! You need a Makro card to get into a Makro store though.

According to other forums, ASDA will be doing it for £27 for the first 24 hours after release. No need for a card and no VAT to add on top.

They normally do, Morrisons probably will as well. They seem to all wait to see what ASDA do then undercut them by £1.

My teenage son at uni has just sent me an email asking for this for Christmas..so I'll be watching for the cheapest prices as well.

Can I ask where you heard this? I have looked online and you can pre-order it from Asda for £44.91. I have ordered it elsewhere for a similar price, so I will be miffed if Asda are selling it for £27! Does anyone know if Play.com price match? Thanks.

Its standard practice with big titles recently. Always check out the supermarkets with new releases! :)

Some people get them delivered 2-3 days before release. Nothing more than that.
