ebay are great for gold or organza jewellry bags which can be filled with cotton wool and hung on the tree for a different look. You can find cheap tassels too.

Thanks op. The large ones (4"x5" approx) could also be used for table favours at christmas dinner, cheaper than the ones I got at Tesco a couple of years ago.0

Alternatively, stock up on some that are relatively decent, and they will last you at least 25 years if packed away properly! Ours have, we have bought the odd one or two in between times, but everything else has lasted really well.What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
