So... haven't been doing too much after surgeory. Did manage to get to the Nickelback concert in Sydney, which was completely free
Helps when your mum's boyfriend owns a music magazine. Did slip and buy a ludicrously overpriced tour t-shirt.. but its still only half what the ticket would have cost... so I guess I'm still ahead? :rotfl: :A

Ok.. So I'm in Fiji. And this trip has become a hell of a lot more expensive than I thought it would be....
First there's the fijian VAT and hotel tax, which isnt added on to anything in the hotel... which makes a massive difference at 17.5%!!!!
It is beautiful here though... would definitely recommend it for those who can afford it.
Ok, will be restarting from scratch when I get back... Will be moving, and having slightly less pay, so this could be interesting...
Bye from Fiji!:D

So, in the last month I have managed to:
*Be broken up with from long-term bf.
*Have surgeory to get all wisdom teeth out.
*Gone to Fiji.
*Finally get closure from aforementioned break up.
My credit card balance has also gone up... It so close to $7,000 I may as well just say thats the number.
So, this morning I called my bank (St. George). They've increased my limit of $4,000 to $6,000, so i can get a balance transfer of $1,700 from my anz card and only have 2.9% interest for 6 months. The outstanding balance is at 11.49%, so not outstanding, but considerably better than the 17.49% I was paying with ANZ on that $3,000 limit.
I'm confusing myself.. but I think this will work out better...LBM - June 2014 DFD Goal: June 2016 (28th Bday!)

Well I did something I haven't wanted to do for a while now this morning. I called the two charities I support (UNICEF and The Cancer Council) to reduce my donations.
Really didn't want to do it.. but If I dont have the money I can't.. so will be paying $40 a month instead of $80 until my C/C is down a bit. Hopefully they will survive in the meantime :ALBM - June 2014 DFD Goal: June 2016 (28th Bday!)

Was contemplating personal loans yesterday, and it got me thinking as to why someone would be enticed to get one when the interest rates are higher than mu current credit card rated? Consolidate my loans at a higher rate? You've got to be kidding....
Anyway, I'm just procrastinating waiting for my uni textbooks to arrive.
Hopefully I get this money business figured out by the time I'm a successful lawyer... me thinks if I spent all that my guilt levels would skyrocketoh well... MSE to the rescue! :money:
