Hi - does any one know how to take DFS leather sofas apart please ? ( apart from with a chainsaw that is ! ) as we have to dismantle ours soon

You can't! They are made as one piece!
Why do you have to take it apart? If it got into the flat or house, it can go out! Usually through the window!Motto: 'If you don't ask, you don't get!!'

no , sorry they do come apart - ours had to as we needed it on the second floor via a winding staircase - I was working away when they came but my partner said that they dismantled into sections on the lawn and brought it up in sections - but she didnt see them assemble them againAs Martin says - please be nice - there is no such thing as a stupid question !0

Has it got any fixings on on the bottom?
We've got a huge 4 seater sofa from Thomas Lloyd that comes apart into two halves. You have to tip it on it's back, then underneath it's got a sort of brackety thing on one side and a peg on the other side. You need to release the peg from the brackety thing to take it apart.Here I go again on my own....0 -
