aw - bet your tree looks better than ever! I love Christmas trees decorated the old fashioned way! Our Christmas tree is like a biography of our lives - from the kids first homemade decs to ones I have collected all over the world - Peru, France, Germany, China etc.
It is mainly red and gold colours - but this is entirely by accident - there are very few decorations the same - and I personally think it looks gorgeous.

Also I think the tree should be all about the kids anyway - my three year old decorated ours this year (with a bit of guidance!)...

though I do have some very 'perfect' friends (no kids) with the perfect house and tree - and they always have a chuckle at our tree when they come over - but hey - it takes all sorts! :rolleyes:
