I paid mine £300, mine is a share of freehold and an old bloke does all the admin and has done for about 20 years. I dont begrudge him the money as he does all the other company business for free so why not make a bit of money from someone selling up. He was a bit slow in responding to a few queries but because I had paid him I had no guilt when I harassed him to turn the enquiries round quicker seeing as I was paying for the service.

I would suggest Mum_of_3 also charge a fee, but be aware that if paying for a service then people will expect a very prompt service.

I have just had to do this and it cost me £225 + VAT so £270.

Cost us £120 inc VAT and took only a few days (once we got all the relevant parties in contact with each other) but our freeholder was the lady upstairs who we were on good terms with.
