Just a quick one i'm off to Lanzarote first thing tomorrow morning(Thursday) and just been reading cheapest way to spend abroad and as we haven't exchange any cash just wanted to see if anyone could tell me what is best ro use or to withdraw cash in uk and change it either at Manchester Airport on in Lanzarote or withdraw money their. We have

Natwest Debit Card - Premier Gold Current Account
Egg
Amex Blue
A&L Credit Card
Capital One Credit Card
MBNA Credit Card

Never changed money in Lanza,but have on the mainland and Mallorca,generally find a better rate out there,depending on what you are going to change,enough for a couple of beers,is the differance.
I would draw sterling out at the airport,and change over there.
Make sure you change up before 1pm and not at w/ends or they charge commission.
And PLEASE DO GET A SAFE IN HOTEL.
I dont know much about the cc rates(usually use cash),
