Caution: there's a bigger problem, unfortunately.
Barclayard credits payments to your account on your statement date, regardless of when the payment is received. This means that, unlike most credit cards, there's no advantage in paying off the card early.
If you made a payment using borrowed cash before your payment due date, B'card would not reduce the interest-bearing balance until your next statement was produced. If the cc cheque had already been debited to your B'card account, any repayments would pay off that transaction first.
To be safe, you would need to wait until you have a monthly statement from B'card showing your balance is zero, before you write the credit card cheque

Check the transfer rate for paying the cheque into a current account. Most times if it is allowed, the transfer rate to pay into a current a/c is higher than a direct transfer from another CC.
I've got 2 Barclaycards, one normal one and one Onepulse card. Both with offers. On the Barclaycard, I have 0% until April 2010 with a 2.5% fee. On the Onepulse card, I have 0% until November 2010 with a 2.5% fee. On both accounts I have paid the cheques into my current account. On both cards, I have a statement that debits the relevant cheque fee and says the dates when both 0% offers finish.0
