Travelodge Help

I have booked 2 nights in a London travelodge - when I looked at my invoice it states that I have booked a double plus room one night and a double room the second night. I have phoned and emailed Travelodge and have received 3 different answers!!

(General Enquires) The first guy on the phone said that he had never heard of a double plus room (double bed plus single bed) - he said that's a family room. I said no that a family room was also available in the list of rooms stated for the hotel so obviously that was a different type of room. Not a clue so he told me to ring reception.

(Reception) I spoke to the a girl who said that double plus was just a double room with 2 beds in it. I asked her was it possible to have that both nights - she said no problem but to bring my email confirmations along with me (but one says double and one says double plus?) She said that I will have a double plus room both nights, no extra charge as it's just a double room with an extra bed and that I would not have to check in and out as that would be extra work for the staff - I would however have to get my card fixed in on the second day. Ok

but ............I sent an email before I called and they have now replied to me saying the following: "If the room types are different then the bookings will be for different rooms."

so what do I do now?

Have any of you done the same? do they expect you to check in and out if you are in different rooms - I know they don't hold on to luggage.

Generally if you ask nicely at reception they'll ensure you'll have the same room for both nights but there is a chance you'll have to change rooms

yeah that's what i did but there doesn't seem to be a consensus i phoned the actual hotel itself and they said they couldn't confirm what type of room i will have but said they would try and provide with 2 beds each night so that I wouldn't have to move they are aware that I am there for 2 nights anyway

as I have read the stories on the site - that might worries me a lot!
