Hiya NID mate. Hope you're well.
Just back from two weeks away and returned to, surprisingly, only one letter from a creditor. This was from Lloyds TSB regarding my loan account.
Still nothing from our friends at Egg and Smile.co.uk.
What do you make of the Lloyds loan agreement? It seems OK to me but I'm not sure it should be split over so many pages. Additionally, I hate the way Lloyds sends these things. There are so many copies of the Lloyds logo it makes me wonder if they scan the original then bin it and just produce reproductions from their systems?
What say you, dude? What say you? Cheers!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Hi NID, I have drafted up a letter to send to the Halifax and was wondering if you could take a look at it for me...I've wrote it myself and tried to use a more gentle approach in order to get an actual copy of my cca, rather than getting too legal on them just yet....They did respond with a CCA, which you said is actually quite a good one, so I'm hoping to appeal to their good side (prob pointless but there we go) in order to get a photocopy of the actual agreement. I'm also trying to show that I am being reasonable in case we ever get to the stage of going to court...I can then show the judge that I have made efforts to resolve things amicably and not got too legal too soon.
Anyway, I'm not sure I want to post the letter up here as due to it not being a template, if any beady eyes were watching who shouldn't, then anonymity may be lost on my part if you get me....is it possible to email you it or something (pm me if you don't want to post your email)
Thanks

Mate its pointless being nice to them, they just don't listen so you need to be firm, to the point and use threats or things don't add up.
Bottom line is you will not pay again until they send you a copy of the original - if they don't then fine, legally you do not have to pay.
Being nice is a waste of time cos they will not listen to you..... trust me
However PM the letter and i'll scan over it but if you've removed all legal threats then you know i'll say it's not the best lol - sorry just being honest mate2010 - year of the troll

I've just tried to send that PM, not sure if it worked though as it's not appeared in my sent items...I''ll try again, let me know when you get it - Thanks
I know what you mean mate and I did expect that to be your viewpoint but I would like to get a letter in anyway that shows a reasonable approach on my behalf...the CCA they have sent, you said is a good un, so I now need to get the proper copy or find out if they have one. I'll start slow and then build from there. Maybe it's just me being silly but I'd still like to do this first anyway an then get militant on them if they still don't play ball!0
