  • Sorry I can't at this moment, I haven't been able to view my account on line, but in the letter I sent I have requested a full breakdown of my bank charges and the new loan agreement

Then sign nothing and agree to nothing at the moment because it is what I think you'll admit is a blind offer. Impossible to say yes or no without more info.

  • Is there any sort of code they should be working to? how can they ask people to sign credit agreements without giving some sort of breakdown?

They should work within the Consumer Credit Act with regards to the loan so the paperwork should say amount and what it is for. You can write to them and ask them for their breakdown of the figure.
Usual code is the Banking Code of Business

  • Yea ok that is what I have asked for in my letter to them, I think they have tried to lump in to the loan the 5 payments from the loan from July, I cancelled the PPI ans was expecting they would re-schedule the loan which they haven't done yet.

They don't reschedule the loan if the PPI is cancelled. It would go down but not to the amount excluding PPI when it was originally signed.

  • Right I didn't reliase, can you just run that by me again, do you mean that the payments will only reduce by the amount of the insurance?

at the start of the loan you would have paperwork for loan plus PPI. If you cancel the loan the amount you repay does not drop to the figure for loan excluding ppi on the original credit agreement(loan paperwork), does that make sense?
