Bolier Position

As part of a kitchen redesign we are going to have our combi boiler moved into the corner of the kitchen, from its current location in the middle of a wall.
The corner is a solid external wall turning into an internal platerboard wall (which is being rebuilt during the redesign) Due to the positioning of the kitchen units, the boiler will need to be hung on the internal wall (with the venting on the external wall). Does anyone know if there are any regulations that prevent boilers from being on an internal wall? I am assured that the re- building of the internal wall wll be done so it is strong enough to take the weight of the boiler

hiya!
if you still have the installation booklet, it should tell you in there if there are any restrictions on locations for your boiler, however, we quite regulary hang boilers on internal walls in some newbuild houses, and providing the flue is correctly installed and the internal wall is properly constructed, there should not be any problems hanging the boiler where you want.
nb. if you are in any doubt, i would contact a local CORGI registered installer and just ask them to check(or the plumber moving the boiler for you should be able to offer advice as to the most suitable location for the boiler to go?) to make sure your boiler location is to current standards ect.
