hello everyone
can anyone tell me if it is free to get card meters for gas and electric put in and also taken out?

also i registered by phone and form with british gas to get winter rebate(found out about it on here thankyou guys) mths ago
didnt get anything off last but 1 bill.rang and was told it would go off this one. well it hasnt,did get through to some one and he says house isnt registered! ive been trying all day to get through to customer services to sort it out but i cant afford to sit on hold for half hr

any tips please

    Sorry no one has replied, I have heard of people having these meters installed both free of charge and for some there has been a charge so not sure honey. I would call your supplier to see what they say.

    The problem with card payment meters, is that the price per unit is usually higher!

    Not to mention the weekly standing charge.

    theres no charge for a meter,we used to have oneand our bills are much cheaper now

    thankyou everyone,i think i will have to go for the meters i cant deal with bills coming in at the moment.
    i cant get through to bg without being put on hold for up to 25mins and i need to ask them about my winter allowance
