Brand new cooker

Hi everyone. I've just shelled out a brand new cooker (first time ever)... its guaranteed for 12 months, but should I shell out an extra 50 quid for the manufacturer's 3year warranty, or is it a waste of money?
Opinions welcome, thanks!

I would not and take the chance of it not breaking down.
Taking or not taking the £50 warenty is a game of chance, if you decide to wait the manufacturer will often write when the years free warenty is nealy up to see if you will change your mind and give them the extra money for the next 2 years. If winter comes, can spring be far behind?
Spring begins on 21st March.0
