Reactfast company poor service and high charges

If you have a boiler breakdown and are left with no heating and no hot water do NOT call Reactfast company. I have done so thinking they would offer the fast service they say they offer(96% of jobs done in one visit) The engineer came within 24 hours but charged £75 for a 20 minutes visit, he said maybe the problem would be resolved by replacing a part that I had to order on a Tuesday( he has no replacements part so a second visit is always needed) they told me it would arrive within 1-2 days, and by Friday it has not arrived. I will have to pay the second visit at £75 for any part of an hour and if the problem is not resolved I will have to pay the order of another part that will have to be fixed on a 3rd visit charged at £75 again for any part of an hour.
I first called on Monday, it is Friday and still waiting and having to chase them up for information on progress.
When I said their fees are to high I was told : that is what you have to pay for an emergency and fast service! 4 days have already elapsed and still waiting and not sure if they will resolve the problem on the second visit!!!

How much were you quoted for an emergency call out? If you didn't ask, you really can't complain after the event.

£75.00 emergency call out fee for a gas engineer is very typical; some charge an awlful lot more!

Edit: I've just got a quote from them and it was £69.00 per hour or part thereof. There's a 10% possible discount for booking online.
The prices probably vary slightly by area.
