Hi,

I'm sure most people know this, but for those who dont the new tariff offered by E-on which is their cheapest deal does NOT offer Tesco clubcard points.

I was wondering if the E-on representative could tell us why this is the case when all the other tariffs offer the points and if Tesco points will be introduced at a later date on this tariff?

From what I know, I don't think the points will be added to this tariff at a later date. If you really want Tesco points you would be better to choose a different tariff.

Overall, this tariff does offer a higher amount of discount for most areas, and is part of the reason that the Tesco points are not available. Also some customers do not have a Tesco clubcard, so this option may be better for them.

It may turn out that customers would much prefer to have the Tesco points instead of the increased discount, or they may not, I'm sure we will get some feedback on this.

Thanks for getting back to me,

The Tesco points are not really that important to me, so I am happy to have the cheaper tariff. It just seemed strange that all of E-ons other tariffs had the tesco points and this one didn't.
