RSS Feeds?????

I recommend FireFox as its great for RSS Feeds, live bookmarks.

RSS is quite a common thing, and all the better for integrating it into Opera. I don't actually understand what you want from Opera. For RSS feeds it's perfect. There shouldn't be an element of complexity, it's purely displaying the latest data from a website which is does very well.

I agree the mail client isn't the best but in all honesty I'd much rather use Opera as an all-in-one than have to install more applications just to deal with mail and RSS.

I guess I was just hoping that Opera could parse the file itself, apply a bit of basic formatting from a style sheet/template and display the result on page. Maybe the Opera interface will just takes some getting used to.

Now I get you. Yeah Opera just treats it as if it were mail, no formatting either. As mentioned above it's all down to how the rss client how the layout looks. Some are nicer than others.

Thanks for all the replies, and your time - sorry for not getting back sooner. This sort of covers it for me. I'll have a go now.

(I don't know why, but I'd got some image of tickertape coming out of a USB port or something!)
