Argos -entitled to voucher?

My wife reserved goods from Argos over the weekend 31 Oct-1 November.I collected & paid for the goods on Monday the 2 November. I had been primed to expect a £5 Voucher for the purchase of goods exceeding £50 value. I did not receive the Voucher and on questioning the Store Manager I was advised the goods had to be paid for no later than 1 November to qualify for the offer.
He also stated he could not be held responsible for anything Argos had on the Internet.If I wanted to take it further I would have to take it up with Argos HQ.
At the time I suspected my Wife had probably failed to notice the conditions on the Internet Site.
By pure chance late on the evening of the 3 November I saw the £5 voucher(For goods exceeding £50 value) being advertised on Voucher Codes.Com and the finish date was shown as 3 November.

Q1) Do I have case? and
Q2) What the easiest way of resolving the problem?

contact the HQ, I had this problem at one time, they emailed me back with a code, which i took into the store - no problem and it was resolved the same day.

I think Argos are probably a more reliable source on the expiry of the offer than Vouchercodes.com.

No you are not entitled i'm afraid, the offer finished last Sunday 1st November, the store manager was right.

You could try contacting H/O but I doubt they will override the store manager's decision.

In regards to Argos offers such as free gift vouchers and stuff, only ever get your information from the argos.co.uk website, ignore voucher code websites as they often get their information from 3rd parties, who are usually wrong!

Hi, i got an email 11/11 saying Free Gift voucher this week , i ordered a shower online, does the voucher come with the shower ? or is it sent seperatley in the post ?

If you ordered for home delivery online then you will receive a voucher code to use with your next purchase online, not a voucher.

If you reserved an item to pick up at the store then when you pay for your item at the store you will get your voucher:

As above plus if you ordered by phone the voucher will be sent seperately.
