adding a another bedroom & exstension

currently have 3bed rm house with plenty of scope to exstend to a 4 bedroom & to make the kichen bigger downstairs with a utillty room & may be dineing room..currently the house is 8.5m L x 6m W would be looking to extend about another 5m to L & also do a loft conversion at a cost of approx 50k so would it be worth doing from adding value to the tune off 50k plus point of view....i know its bit of a how longs a piece of string Q,but there must be some sort of genral rule of thumb figer...thanks

Best thing to do is check out local houses which have had a similar extension and figure out the difference between them and what you have. If its more than the cost of building it then its probably worthwhile.0

As above, do some research into the local housing market so you can get the gist of it yourself and then speak to a local estate agent to see what their view is.0
