Hi everyone, yeah they thought that it would be the mainboard but would do a full diagnosis if and when I agree to pay for this and send it to them. However I need to get my photos off it before I send it any where as I couldn't stand losing them. I have spoken to a local man and he said this is straight forward and would cost £25 which I am happy with.

We bought the laptop from a catalogue and haven't yet spoken to them I went to Sony first. So once photos are retrieved what is my best way of approaching the catalogue or am I just going to drive myself mad dealing with them with no joy at the end.

And when talking about this 2 year law am I detecting some sarcasm and therefore its the SOGA that I need to be quoting

Thanks for your help guys, I paniced today about the photos and am now more chilled. Oh yeah does anyone think its worth it to get the mainboard fixed???

well i thought the other poster was being sarcastic so i was too

    apparently they wernt! lol

your claim will lose all credibility when you mention it as they will know you have no idea what your on about.
