One way or the other, neither party is coming out of this with much credibility.

As the BBC state that the info comes from the unions I think my point is more likely

Terms of the agreement will be released at 12:00 6 Nov.

As an outsider looking in, it seemed to me that there was a great deal of uncertainty over what they were actually striking over - listening to the Radio, many Posties seemed not to know and the union had certainly failed to communicate that to the public. The strikes seemed to make little difference to delivery times (at least anacdotally based on my eBay buying and selling). I wonder if there have been any figures released as to the level of public support (or lack off) - there did not seem to be much from the people I talk too, but that is not necessarily representative. The general feeling seemed to be that we can "beat the stikes" by using a combination of modern communication methods, private delivery firms and sensible timing as to when to post.

A few issue for the brothers (and sisters) to address then if they are to return to action next year.

the reason(for me) it wasnt clear what the strikes were about was/is because there are many factors
its across the board on many points.
much of the core issue is how long certain duties take and how many staff it takes
this formula has repercussions through many levels within day to day RM
eg my own duty now fails every single day as it cant be done within the time allowed.RM say it can and on top of that i have time to take part of another duty
