if people think that is the case they should invest in some good home security; an alarm system, several security cameras, pack of savage dogs and a shotgun. At least you will be able to protect what you do own.
i've never heard so much rubbish - even from you Graham
You are getting quite confused today chucky.
Wasn't me who talked of people with guns, and wasn't me who posted the picture / chart / graph either as you suggested in another post just now.
I hope this doesnt end up spreading over several pages discussing whether I did or didn't start the discussion about guns.0 -

Investors know to keep an eye on the builders BDEV and others for sentiment towards housing in the UK.
They have been proved to be a leading indicator and if correct the tide is turning for UK housing, next leg down 2010.Groceries challenge

do you mean "investors" or jokers like Dr Bubb?
the man that everyone has lost count the number of times he has called the start of the HPC and the "next leg" downs...
he's called it at least twice a year and sometime 5 times a year since 2003.0 -
Given that we've just gone back above the mean again, that can only mean that on the graph we are at "Take-off".
Or, more likely, the graph is a pile of !!!!, as suggested many times. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Don't say you weren't all warned!
It's not your fault, but quite a few of us said there would be house price drops over the winter before you joined in August

What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.
Some men you just can't reach.

Rather than copying and pasting quotes from HPC.co.uk try and make a reasoned argument for once.
I know its hard, I know you need to think but you should try it sometime.0 -
QE turns a bull trap in to a bull run. It will have to end at some point but the idea is that QE holds everything up until real growth returns. QE sooths fear and means desperation never sets in.0
