Std Life WP Bond - Change in the reduction

Has anyone else noticed a change in the reduction quoted by Standard Life in their WP bonds?
My WP bond reduction has dropped by almost 20% (about £900) since I last looked three weeks ago. I wrote to Std Life askng about this reduction and they offered no promises as to when, if ever, the reduction would be removed. Apparently they would not apply it if I died! That seems to be the best answer for most of my problems! - Only joking :A
Is this anything to do with today's news perhaps?

Most of the strong providers have removed all reductions. With the exodus that is likely post demutualisation, I wouldnt be surprised if the MVR increased again.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
