Cheeky buyer wants two weeks to pay for goods.

I sold a belt which clearly asked for international ebayers to contact me for postage costs.
Nevertheless the winning buyer, and American , failed to do so.
Seven days later and no response to my invoice and email I file NPB.
She responds(so can now leave feedback) saying do I prefer a money Order(clearly says in my listing paypal only) or Paypal, so I chose the latter.
Three days later no payment so I sent he a polite remiainder asking for payment within 24 hours.
The cheeky cow has now emailed me telling me she will pay on Sunday - 14 days after she won the auction
Cheeky cheeky cow.
Shall I wait for the payment (if it comes)or close the dispute claim my fvfs fees and relist tomorrow. What do you all think?
I think it's too late for a 2nd chance to the bidder.

if the buyer pays by paypal then I would continue with the auction/sale but leave relevant feedback.
if the buyer wishes to pursue other payment methods then file a npb and email them to notify them of your intentions. You got to get through what you've got to go through to get what you want but you got to know what you want to get through what you got to go through.0 -
This really p*sses me off and why do people bother bidding without reading the auctions fully. I would wait till Sunday and state this is her last chance and then report her. Leave approirate feedback what ever the outcome to make sure others are aware of her.
Good luck!Regards,
Dave

Trust me I'm already !!!!!! off with her. It's just tomorrow is free gallery and subtitles day. I might wait until Sunday and she still doesn't cough up.David_B wrote:This really p*sses me off and why do people bother bidding without reading the auctions fully.
In addition, why does the whole NPB process takes so long, by the time it's all over the 2nd chance bidder would have lost interest.Third time lucky on WW I hope :j

The second chance offer I think is meant to be there if you have more than one of the item, and could sell it to the second high bidder, third and so on at a profit, without the need to list. In affect helping you out with listing fees.
It also of course means eBay get more FVF's for the one item. I don't believe the second chance offer is there primarily for use after the highest bidder doesn't pay.Stuff Happens As Wave of Ambiguity Spreads:cool:0 -
This buyer seems unreliable. If I were you I would close the dispute today, choosing the option of 'I no longer wish to communicate with the buyer' or something like that. I would then leave the buyer negative feedback. The buyer will probably retaliate by leaving you negative feedback as well but just follow it up with a factual reply. He/she definately deserves a neg.
You could do a second chance offer or just re-list.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

Apply some patience, take the money on Sunday and then post the item at your leisure. If payment doesn't arrive on time then contact the buyer and explain that you will be leaving negative feedback if there isn't some action.Happy chappy0

I'm fuming
The stupid cow has emailed me to say she doens't want the belt now!!
I can't neg her because she responded to the NPB alert.
The new system is flawed

Hi.
Of course you can neg her, but as she's replied she too can neg you. As said above, neg her, get your FVFs back through closing the dispute, and relist. f she negs you in retaliation, answer her neg factually.
It's happened to all of us who sell regularly at some stage. Close up and forget it.
BaffExclamation and question marks - ONE exclamation mark or question mark is sufficient to exclaim or ask about something. More than one just makes you look/sound like a prat.
Should OF, would OF. Dear oh dear. You really should have, or should've listened at school when that nice English teacher was explaining how words get abbreviated.0 -
Take the possible neg feedback and warn others about her buying activity. Most people aren't put off by one or two neg feedbacks as long as the response isn't threatening or abusive... One guy did say in a post that he always puts buyer ordered a large sex toy but it was too small. He said they nearly always go for feedback removal for some reason!
As I have said on here countless times.... you're dealing with americans who think everywhere is in the US and they re-elcted George Bush!!My broad mind and narrow waist are slowly swapping places!!0
