full time in the office until 5, then grab stuff, get changed and off to a school to teach for 2 evenings (get in at 9.30 after leaving the school just after 9), then planning teaching until 9 last night and 8 tonight :( Five more weeks of the same - although not as much teaching planning for the next 5 weeks as I've done about 75% of it. Invigilating though next Wednesday evening so 3 nights working next week

If at the end of July I am still full time and the afternoon job contract hasn't been axed I am not going to teach next year, I've already decided. 2 years of night time classes plus the tsunami of paperwork is enough for me.

I think that is a wise decision BB, working so full on can only be sustained in the short term, its not good for you to accept that type of workload as "normal".

You can always go back to teaching in the future now that you have the experience and the teaching quals.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Dear me that is alot for a fireworks display, does your local council not put one on for free?
