Not sure which forum to post this in, as i cannot see a general credit forum.
I've been looking at my callcredit report for the first time today, and noticed 4 searchs in the last year by 4 different companys with the Search Purpose as "Money Laundering"
They are -
Prepay Technologies Ltd (ML)
Virgin Games NC
Bet365 Group Ltd Non Credit
MEM Consumer Finance (ML)
I know who they all are, but the "Money Laundering" part scared me

Someone has told them you've been putting your trouser in the washing machine with £10 notes in the pockets, they decided they needed to investigate the accusations of money laundering. If you don't like what I say slap me around with a large trout and PM me to tell me why.
If you do like it please hit the thanks button.0 -
:rotfl:lol at Gordon the Moron's answer.
It's nothing to worry about - just means that these companies have carried out ID / address verification for you - presumably for products you have applied for - eg. car insurance quotes would be an example where I have similar searches on my file and even the National Lottery lol - sadly just an ID check when opening an online account with them :rotfl: Should not affect your credit score.0
