When have I legally purchased

For the purpose of internet shopping, at what point can it be said I have legally purchased. Is it when I click 'Confirm', or when they take the money, or when they deliver, or what?

It depends on each individual retailers T&Cs. Typically it's when they dispatch the goods so they have the chance to catch any pricing errors

Does depend upon their Ts&Cs, but.....there is an argument that it's as soon as they take your money [it's definitely no earlier than this].

Many firms don't actually take your cash until they have dispatched so it's effectively the same for those.
