At the moment Terrys Chocolate Orange are on offer at Tesco's.

3 for £5.00, so if you were willing to pay a fiver anyway.....

There is also another deal on at the same time

BOGOF, so you pay £2.40 for TWO.

So, if you bought 4 you would only pay £4.80, you would get 20p change AND you would get a FREE Chocolate Orange!! Simples!!!

Have to say, according to my husband, this confuses the tills immensly as it tries to charge you 3 for £5 plus another £2.40 -I think not!!!

I wonder if the overcharge - 3 for £5 plus the cost of one whatever that is, say £1.50 for arguments sake, total 6.50 when the cost should be as op says £4.80, making a potential overcharge of say, £1.70 ish plus dare I say it double the difference? The cost would be then approx £3.10 for 4 if you could get dtd

This glitch was noticed by staff in my Tesco yesterday and signs were being removed while i shopped so you'll have to look out if your Tesco is on the ball......

Sorry folks!! I'm the OP and unfortunately this mistake has now been spotted by Tesco and the BOGOF offer has now been withdrawn....Boo to Mr Tesco.
