best dial up pay as you go internet?

what's the best deal? for when my broadband goes down

i am on bt-yahoo at the moment, but it won't connect says it needs to take me to a secure or safe page and fails to open.

looking around they seem to have got quite a bit more expemsive during peak time

Try https://www.thinkbroadband.com for all things ISP related.
Would advise you check you've not reached whatever your download allowance is!
There are ISPs with dialup that don't require a contract.
From a quick google something like http://www.adial.co.uk/ may be good enough as it should be rare your broadband is down anyway
