Problem with Humax IDTV

We've recently bought a humax 17" IDTV with inbuilt digital tuner. We've had the TV about 10 days and we 've noticed that the unit can only be left on standby when not used., However the first time you switch it on in the morning the digital channel appears to be locked on the last channel you watched the night before.
The only way to reset it, is to switch off the power at the mains and then switch it back on. This appears to cause the software to reboot and its fine. Ive checked we do have the latest software which we have,but it still happens. Does anyone else have this problem? Ive emailed Humax but haven't had a reply yet?
