Getting a refund from BT

Hi,
I am desperately trying to get a refund from BT at the moment. Does anybody know the best way to get this? I have tried calling them a number of times and also sent a letter of complaint without even an acknowledgment.
I can't afford to call them anymore as I do not have a landline and the freephone number is no good to me.
Has anyone been in this situation and got any advice, or know where I can complain to outside of BT in order to get what they owe me?
Many thanks,
Jason

Hello Jason and welcome to the boards.
more details are needed.
Why do the owe you a refund if you do not have a landline.
Could you ask a friend or family if you could use their landline seeing as its a freephone number.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Hi jason86,
I can certainly help you to retrieve the refund you are due. Drop me an email to btcare@bt.com with FAO Keith in the subject field. Could you also include a link to this post so I can get on this straight away for you,
Regards

Hi McKneff,
I closed my account with BT following a house move, and left the account in credit by a considerable amount (as my DD was increased by BT).
I no longer require a landline in my new place as I can get internet services via fibre optics and because I could not get this service previously I needed a lanline in order to have the internet.
Keith - I will e-mail you as I have been in contact with your office.
Thanks,
Jason0
