Clarks are really expensive this eyar but lovely boots...:D

Thanks for the link about Gray and Osbourne...they look quite good, I'm going to try Evans first this week I think and then have another look at Gray and Osbourne after that....

I also buy my boots from Evans and they are amazing value for money because they last and last. I still wear a £70 leather pair I bought 5 years ago, and my OH treated me to another leather pair (different style) which were £40 from £105 in the Jan sales.

I would recommend you try them on in store though rather than order online. I have tried a couple of pairs on where they did have a big flappy bit at the back of my calf (it may have been the style but felt weird ), but generally their boots are fantastic. :D

I've ust bought some Evans online without trying them on first so i'm hoping they'll be okay.
I've tried some of theirs on before and they were so comfrtable and didn't make me feel like i had bigger calves.

There's a £5 off a £40 spend on the codes board, along with free delivery codes, so if you try some on and want to buy online then there's possible savings to be made.

My legs swell. A few years ago I got some lace-up boots from Clarks. The have a zip at the side, but it is a proper lace up at the front. So I can tighten or loosen them to fit. They look good too.

I also have a pair of boots which fold over and buckle at the side. Same thing I can tighten or loosen them as needed.

These types of styles might be worth watching out for.

Thanks for all the replies, really appreciated....I went into Evans yesterday but they didn't really have any that i liked so I had a look online but they have sold out of a lot in my size  There are only the really wide ones left and I think eee fittings might be too big...

As for the Duo Boots Jummy, I am hoping the fluid on my legs will go down in a year so don't want to spend £100 for them only to be not worn next year...plus at the moment I don't have £100 to spend on then :rotfl:

So i'm going to have a look at the other suggestions and see how I get on...Next ones I looked at yesterday, they have bumped up the prices for the wide fitting ones typical and Gray and Osbourne have sold out of my size in the clearence section so not having much luck at all.... :(

Buckles and Bows specialise in boots in different calf sizes. This page tells you how to work out the calf size that you need to order. They go right up to a calf circumference of 44cm if your foot size is 3-4, 45cm if your foot size is 5-6 and 46cm, if your foot size is 7-8. I've ordered from them before and was very impressed.

The page that displays all the boots says the boot name and the size. It is referring to calf size here, not shoe size and once you've clicked on the correct calf size, you can then choose the correct foot size. Hope that makes sense!
