Home Emergency Assistance

Is this worth having? It is meant to cover household problems like central heating breakdown and leaks etc. All household insurers seem to offer it now, as an extra for around £80.
Is it any good or are they any good is it worth the money, does it cover what you want. The Insurers always ask "who will you call in an emergence"?
Any views would be welcome.

Just seen this so sorry for late reply. FWIW I have had this type of cover for quite a few years and one frustration was the definition of 'emergency'. If you have any other cover at all or if there was an alternative then by rights they had a get out. For example when the gas bolier stopped the cover was for hot water but since I had an emersion heater then it wasn't an 'emergency'.Also look carefully at what your current house insurance covers and you will find duplication.0
