I've had a naff morning with serious chocolate cravings (never used to get these and don't want them!) but haven't given in. I think aiming for a no spend day won out on stubbornness!
However... we are going out for a meal with friends tonight - planned a while but fixed for today by the guys with no notice, so it won't be a no spend after all. I am looking forward to it, and intend to be reasonably parsimoniousDo I Need One Stops All Unnecessary Reckless Spending£2 CSC - £30 :kisses3:0 -
£24 on a snappy new haircut, £1.50 on parking and 18 pence on a jiffy bag to post an ebay sale.
I had a nice little payrise this month, so the haircut is a treat. The rest will be paid off my CC.Official DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0 -
going to have a no spend day today, need to go to the post office but figure if i go tomorrow, when i have to go to the supermaket as well it won't interfere with my no spend day target of 3 days per week. Is that cheating??

Have been to Tescos and spent £4.64, this included deodorant for my OH as I can't bear the scent of the one he's been using lately!, and some ingredients for a soup I'll be making tonight as I must put my put down finally about being so lazy and always buying tinned soup from Tescos for work lunches.
Hopefully won't buy anything else today.Yesterday is today's memories, tomorrow is today's dreams0 -
Just spent £12.00 in Lillywhites on 2 pairs of joggers & cropped jeans - BARGAIN!!

I'm going to join for now if no one minds, it makes it harder to spend pointlessly if you have to "confess" (it's the Catholic upbringing coming out clearly!)
£1 on a punnet of blueberries at the market, which also contributes to the Fat Free wannabe challenge...
£7.50 on an organic box that will last me in veg the rest of the week hopefully...also contributes to being a Fat Free wannabe!
Brought in own lunch and snacks...
Plan to do own leg wax tonight in front of the telly rather than paying someone else (got a professional kit from last year's Ideal Home exhibition and it has more than paid for itself)0 -

Somehow I managed to stay strong and have a no spend day :money:
It's painful working in the town centre with all the shops try to lure me in on the way home...0 -
Techincally I only spent 81p this morning on a bottle of ginger ale to settle my stomach..... was doing so well until I got back from work to find that someone had smashed into the side of my car, scratching the door, smashing a dent two inches deep into the rear side panel, and cracking the tail light.
I think if I'm lucky it'll be a couple of hundred which is pretty much all I had saved this month :wall: .
No note left by the culprit ovbiously. Think I might join in with that incoherent wailing.....
Sorry to vent, just angry at the thoughtlessness of some people. Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....
